Maybe except for the fact that I tried fried scorpions & ants yesterday, which were nowhere as nice as crickets, but otherwise, it was kind of... Appetising? But NO. I can't blog about that, unless you want to read about how it tasted, looked and felt dead on my plate. However, if you do want to know, I can always tell you :D
But anyway, just to do a quick update on the update that is going to be updated soon on this blog, I've decided to do 1 or 2 tributes. And whatever the subject is, I'll let you guess.

School Holiday ?
I don't think there is any point in having school holidays.
WAIT, before you kill me for saying that, let me explain myself clearly. I do not think there is any point in having school holidays because it has become an excuse for teachers to give us even more homework. In other words, let me just say that this March Holiday for me, has no difference than any other school day.
Let me shove evidence right in your face. This is my list of assignments: - Emaths Inequalities Exercise 3.1-3.4 - 2 Chinese Newspaper Articles - Geog Graded Assignment - Read a book by any local author (LIT) - Emaths Fun with Construction WS - Amaths Textbook Exercise 3.1 - Shao Nian Wen Zhai (read 1 article, comments 500 words) - Rewrite Lit Common Test Part 2 - 1 English Newspaper Article - English Comprehension - Physics Dynamics Worksheet - Chinese Wb exercise 4&5 - Physics Theory Wb Chapter 4 Pg 29-34 - SS Chapter 3 mindmap - Solitary Confinement Literature Unseen Prose - 'Education is the only way to success' Essay - Chemistry Holiday Assignment
Top it up with Physics/Chem/Amaths/Emaths tuition homework, British Council assignment & having to go back to school on Monday(8-12:30), Tuesday(8-2), Wednesday(8-2 + 2hrs CCA), let's just say that School Holidays just aren't holidays anymore.

Universal Studios Singapore.
All of a sudden, I find myself getting really excited about the IR, which, as stated on Wikipedia, is due to be done in 2009. 2009 !?! Yes, 2009. I highly doubt it will be done by then, but who knows? One can always hope ! By the way, if you take the cable car from Vivo City to Sentosa you can actually see all the construction work being done there. And also, on a side note to remind myself, I think we should bring the Japanese students to Sentosa by cable car, so that they can see what the IR is going to look like.
Anyway, so I did some research on the proposals for the IRs', and this 'new' information I discovered got me even MORE enthusiastic about it. BECAUSE, BECAUSE, and only BECAUSE ! (take a look at the picture)
UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SINGAPORE, which equates to LOADS of great rides, mountains of candy floss, and of course the long awaited arrival of a theme park other than ESCAPE. Now that I think of it, what IS going to happen to Escape? Oh, leave that worry to the unfortunate geniuses of ETP.
BACK TO TOPIC, call me slow, say I'm a slow lorris because I'm probably the only person around who doesn't know the theme park is going to be Universal Studios, but WHO CARES!?! It's UNIVERSAL STUDIOS !!!But once again, I'm wondering if the roller coasters available would be stuff named 'Little Dipper Roller Coaster' or worse still, 'Little Fireball Roller Coaster'. WOW, scary.
It's not that I don't have any faith in the project (to put it nicely), but it is kind of hard to imagine having Mickey or Spidey cruising around Sentosa or Marina South on floats, if you get what I mean. What with all the city-like landscape and cranes sticking out positively everywhere. And just because I'm dying of boredom at home, I've created some promotional posters for the Tourism Board. If they ever do come across this.

AWAKE.
It's 4am in the morning & I'm still unable to sleep. Anyway, on a side note,
say YAY because I've updated my blog with 2 entries. And dear dear Qiaochu, it's not that I didn't update my blog. It's because of that freaking blogskin problem that didn't allow me to post anything, and you can see, I AM a regular poster(?). SEE THE DATES OF THE PREVIOUS TWO POSTS, MARCH 03 !!!
So yes, I've finally posted them instead of saving them as drafts. OH, i just realised Mandy's future lover is still under construction in my drafts D: !
Okay, I'll try my best not to sound EMO in this post, because I know it's irritating, and I hate myself for feeling this way too. It's just not right.
But please just click on to other websites if you know you're going to feel annoyed. Because, no, I don't want to annoy anyone. I just want to be able to have some kind of a memory of these events that happened in the past few days, and so in the future I will be able to remember my mistakes.
Well, firstly, WE LOST. But oh, it was expected. Especially when they announced that there was a total of 43000 votes. But the thing that made me feel horrible was that we were the first group to be called out. Although the 7 finalists were not announced in any order of merit, I can't help but think we did the worst, and I should have tried my darned hardest to get more votes. And I certainly should have put in more time in the keying ins. And I'm sorry, to everyone who is disappointed.
I know you do care for me, but sometimes I really wonder if you understand how I feel at all. You really do have bad timing, honestly. Not that I don't appreciate the concern, but sometimes I just want a break from everything and have some alone time, without having to worry about homework and school and all that crap, but you just have to dash that little hope I have the minute I sit down and feel like actually, really really talking to you. Well, one lesson learnt. REMAIN SILENT.
I realised over these past 2 weeks that I'm not a very good friend after all. And I shan't elaborate much on this, but to all those whom I've hurt before, I'm really sorry. And I'm not the selfless, noble kind of friend everyone dreams of having. In fact, I'd probably be the most selfish person you'll ever meet. But I can't take it in myself to try to be more patient or caring no matter how sorry I feel, and that just goes to prove that I'm the BIGGEST self-centered idiot around here.
And now, after this whole NEmation fiasco, I don't even feel like doing Cyberfair anymore. And already, I'm thinking of ways to push the responsibility to others. All in all, I'm not even a good person. Holly Daquel ♥

I HAVE CHANGED BACK THIS SITE'S SONG TO PLANETARIUM (theme song of HYD1)AGAIN !! Mainly because I'm currently on the Hana Yori Dango craze again, since the LIVE, final part of this series is to come out... soon?
But anyway, HYD FANS ARE REJOICING RIGHT NOW ! (and so are tracy, jessica and me !)
