Universal Studios Singapore.
All of a sudden, I find myself getting really excited about the IR, which, as stated on Wikipedia, is due to be done in 2009.
2009 !?!
Yes, 2009. I highly doubt it will be done by then, but who knows? One can always hope !
By the way, if you take the cable car from Vivo City to Sentosa you can actually see all the construction work being done there. And also, on a side note to remind myself, I think we should bring the Japanese students to Sentosa by cable car, so that they can see what the IR is going to look like.
Anyway, so I did some research on the proposals for the IRs', and this 'new' information I discovered got me even MORE enthusiastic about it.
BECAUSE, BECAUSE, and only BECAUSE ! (take a look at the picture)
UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SINGAPORE, which equates to LOADS of great rides, mountains of candy floss, and of course the long awaited arrival of a theme park other than ESCAPE. Now that I think of it, what IS going to happen to Escape? Oh, leave that worry to the unfortunate geniuses of ETP.
BACK TO TOPIC, call me slow, say I'm a slow lorris because I'm probably the only person around who doesn't know the theme park is going to be Universal Studios, but WHO CARES!?! It's UNIVERSAL STUDIOS !!! But once again, I'm wondering if the roller coasters available would be stuff named 'Little Dipper Roller Coaster' or worse still, 'Little Fireball Roller Coaster'. WOW, scary.
It's not that I don't have any faith in the project (to put it nicely), but it is kind of hard to imagine having Mickey or Spidey cruising around Sentosa or Marina South on floats, if you get what I mean. What with all the city-like landscape and cranes sticking out positively everywhere. And just because I'm dying of boredom at home, I've created some promotional posters for the Tourism Board. If they ever do come across this.

Anyway, I sure do pity those people who have to put on the Mickey costume and wave to a bunch of annoying kids and endure their constant plea for photos, BECAUSE. The sun, dude, the sun will melt your brains out.
I'm staring to sound like I don't support the Universal Studios 'movement', WELL. I DO ACTUALLY, seriouslyhonestlysincerely.WHAT DO YOU EXPECT, it's hello, UNIVERSAL STUDIOS ! But still,
