TOURIST FOR 5 DAYS.
As you all know, Jesca, Diane & I hosted a Japanese student each for 5 days starting last Thursday. And yes, sadly, they've returned to Fukuoka already. And I'm sad D: BUT LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE, cus I'm going to go to Fukuoka one day !
Just to elaborate more for those who have no idea about what I'm taking about, my Japanese friend's name is Asami Tsukiji. She's 17 this year, and a head shorter than me :D (But she's cute, haha!) Jesca hosted Misaki, and Diane Nana. So the clueless three of us had everything planned out, what to do on weekends, what to bring, how much to pay, we even had an ITENARY!
And with that, we, together with Asami, Misaki & Nana, BECAME TOURISTS FOR 5 DAYS!
Okay, technically, it was lesser than that. But heck! I'm lazy.
On Thursday, after the Sec4s' farewell party, I rushed off to go pick up Asami. And I HAD THE SHOCK OF MY LIFE. Because I seriously expected her to be taller than me, like you know? I have to look up HIGH in the sky to talk to her. HEY, I'm not being mean here, she's nice, just that I've not met a person shorter than me for a looooooooong time. Either way, I REALLY MISS HER D:
On Friday night, after going to the Asian Civillisation Museum with APCC, we went out for dinner with my mum at Bukit. Timah Hawker Centre. And it was also on that fateful, fateful, FATEFUL night that I got YES YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. SERIOUSLY, I HOPE THAT PERSON FALLS INTO A DRAIN AND DIES THERE OR SOMETHING. But good thing I was stunned and couldn't utter a word, or else I wouldn't know what to tell Asami after that o_o
Saturday was the WORST. We had to wake up at SEVEN in the morning, and brought to the WET MARKET after a tedious walk under the sweltering hot sun ! But Night Safari was fun, except the part where Sir.Tiger pooped in my face. (There's a glass panel separating us though, whew.) And I feel sorry for Chups, she couldn't get to see her sweetheartsssssss. Too bad you didn't come for Sentosa, there were MUCH MORE there :D
AND YES, Sunday was our BIG DAY as tourists, because we did these few things that normal Singaporeans wouldn't even bother to do.
1. We visited the Esplanade and took pictures infront of the Art display.
2. We stood under the sunny funny sun to admire the spiky architecture of the 2 Durians.
3. We ate Durian Walls ice cream with that colourful bread while watching bumboats bump away.
4. We camwhored with the MERLION --_______--
5. We shrieked when we saw the DHL hot air balloon in the sky.
6. I spent a dollar on a tiny packet oh Perangi.
7. Jesca bought 6 dollars worth of Carrot Cake.
8. We had to ask for directions in Sentosa.
9. We went to watch the Pink Dolphin Show.
10. I got lost trying to find Vivocity.
And to further support my point, we got mistaken as tourists -_-
YES, we did, for a total of THREE TIMES.
PHOTOS:

Their first day of school with us; Chinese lesson turned Japanese!
Who's complaining ?
Mongolian at the Museum.
Japanese students & the irritating GP students.
Mongolian went missing.

Asami wore HEELS to the Night Safari O_O

Mongolian (Jesca) & Misaki; Art exhibition @ Esplanade.

(From left:) Asami, Nana & Misaki.

Okay, we got our bottoms really wet sitting on the ground D:

They were really INTRIGUED by the Merlion, seriously.
They even asked if there were any Merlion FAUCETS they could buy home O_O
(Hey! That's a good suggestion for souvenirs the Singapore Tourism Board can make, then I'll buy one and send it to Asami, HAHA)

Diane & Nana. I must say it has been long since we last visited the Merlion.

Group photo!

We failed at the heart, I know, I know.

On the MRT to Vivocity!
& YES. You guessed right! We deliberately stood on this metal, moving platform thingy.
I TOLD YOU WE WERE ACTING AS TOURISTS FOR 5 DAYS !!!

BOO ! Figure out who is who for yourself, eh ?

At the Underwater World.

Their second day in Crescent, and also their last day in Singapore D:

Night at the Farewell Party; before their performance.

I LIKE HER YUKATA !!!
And she likes the almond pudding, haha.

The gave us the Happi they peformed in!!!
As quoted from Jesca, "Got Misaki's scent!" (Hugs Happi)
Yes, we ARE obsessed -_-
And that night, after all the goodbyes and crying, I came home to find that she left a letter, her namecard and some snacks in my drawer. And I cried even more D: They are good at making people cry, seriously, even the song they sang sounded emo and it made Jesca and me,
CRY -_-
Picture I received from her; Asami (at the right side) with her friends and Junior High School teacher in Japan. And if you compare the clothes they're wearing in Japan and in Singapore, you can assure yourself just how very hot they felt.
For now, that's all. And until Diane sends me the photos we took on Siloso, I can't post pictures of the sunset D:
And we're planning to record a video to tell them "KAMPATTE!" for their Year 3 in High School, so,
" DIANE & JESCA! WHERE ARE YOUR PARAGRAPHS!?! "
