BLANKd' OUT.
I feel blank.
Seriously. There's no word that can describe how I feel now.
You know one of those days when you just feel so empty inside? Like a heavy stone's being tied to your heart and you feel so weighed down, but there's no explaination for what you're feeling?
Yeah. This is one of those days.
But, no I'm not being emo. It's probably cus my sis has just left for Australia today.
& it's not for a holiday this time, but really to stay there for a year to study.
Then she has her summer break and she'll come back during the december holidays.
Although it's only three days more till I fly over there and meet her, it still feels like we're never ever going to see each other again. I guess no one really treasures the people around them till they're gone.
Then you feel the heartache and start to regret, remorse and blame yourself for not having treated the person better.
And yes, I guess there were many times when I was really insensitive and selfish to my sister.
So many countless times that I can't remember what I did anymore, but whatever it is,
I want to apologise.
I gave my sister her farewell present today,
and I guess she didn't really expect to receive anything from me since she was stunned for a moment when I told her the gift was from me. Maybe I never ever made her feel appreciated before, and instead blamed her for many petty things. Now looking back, I realise that she really does care for me, no matter how much she tries to hide it. And her concern shows from even the littlest of things she does for me. Like just the other day she gave me 2 packets of M&Ms'. This two packets of chocolates may not seem like a big deal, but I'd like to let you know, sis, that it does to me. And although you may never see this post (and I sure hope you don't), I want to thank you too, for all you've done for me.
AND YES, YOU'RE THE GREATEST SISTER OKAY : D !!
maybe minus the fighting over the remote control thingy, and your irritating continuous announcing of MTV Top 100 song titles, and the always-out-of-time consultation on fashion emergencies, and your refusal to help me squash those bugs in my toilet, and your miser-attitude of sharing your financial fortunes with me, and etc. etc.
& finally being the MOOD RUINER i am, I'm gonna list the advantages I stand to gain upon your departure (just to annoy you), ENJOY !
1. I'VE GOT FULL POSSESION OVER YOUR DRUM-SET!
2. I've got a second emergency hide-out (which is, of course your bedroom) when my bedroom has bugs, and so does the living room.
3. MY WAY OVER CHANNEL-SURFING ! (yippee! no more of your MTV nonsense!)
4. COMPLETE ACCESS TO YOUR (miserable) BOOK COLLECTION !
5. BRING IT ON(s) are mine to watch now.
6. LARGE TEE SHIRTS FOR ME TO SLEEP IN AT NGIHT. which are of course, your old ones :)
7. YOUR TOILET, harharhar !
8. ALL THE SPACE ON THE SOFA FOR ME TO NAP ON :D !
9. I've been eyeing the green frog toy I gave you for some time now, heh heh heh.
10. NO NEED TO SEE YOUR STUPID, act cute FACE ANYMORE HAR HAR HAR ! ! !
WOW. that's alot of advantages :D
Okay, maybe I won't be that sad over your departure from Singapore anymore. But tskk, I think you've got really nice friends, after seeing them pray for you at the airport today :) & one of your guy friends actually cried, LOL. (the one who says he wants to meet you, that one.)
But anw, the BEST PART was still the 'one left, one right, reserved spots on each side' XD
