A Tribute to Heath Ledger.
I switched on my computer today and was just really shocked to see this:
"Heath Ledger found dead in NYC at age 28"
Even as I'm typing out this post, I don't think I've really come to terms with his death yet. It isn't getting through my brain. Of course I've not been a long eternal fan of his, or some stalker who knows every detail of his life, but still, he was an actor that I deeply, truly admired. And it's just such a pity that such talent has been wasted.
Just to think that I've been looking forward to catch 'The Dark Knight' because he was playing The Joker in it.
He was a great actor even when he was young, staring in teen flicks like '10 things I hate about you'. But even after gaining fame for his lead role in that movie, he turned down many other projects in favour of roles that forced him to bury his Australian accent and downplay his 'leading-man looks', for example, the tormented gay cowboy Ennis Del Mar in 'Brokeback Mountain' or the drug addict in 'Candy'.
The police are still unable to define the cause of his death, although sleeping pills were found beside him. However, it is unknown whether the overdosage of drugs was accidental or intentional. Either way, his death is a heartbreaking and tragic end to his career. Heath Ledger made a decision about four years ago to stop being led by producers and managers to create a path of his own, and many people who have worked with him described him as extremely original.
Near the entrance to the building housing Ledger's loft, about two dozen bouquets and a dozen candles formed a memorial. And there was a note, that stated, "I couldn't find anything bad about you."
So this is a tribute, to this amazing actor who inspired so many through his works, and captured the hearts of everybody.
This is for Heathcliff Andrew Ledger. Rest in Peace.

Quick Update.

It's stupid, I know but PLEASE DON'T LEAVE. BV&RV can just die away for all i care!

DIE AWAY.
Today I logged into friendster & changed my shout-out to 'Please just, DIE AWAY .'
Sometimes I wish I can die on a yearly basis, then live through the other remaining days. It's not that I'm being dishonest, nor am I being entirely truthful, but the point is, I'm not a person of commitment. & I have to say that I have no sense of responsibility, and no sense of consideration, until the last moment when everything is about to fall apart then will I regret and try to patch things up.
I don't know why these sudden thoughts are coming to me, but I just wonder if there's eternity. How I wish I could be like back then, when I could be carefree about the things I speak, but now I'm just careful. I want to tell you everything, anything that's on my mind and treat you like a true friend. But I just can't, & I don't understand why I feel so burdened about this either.
Maybe I'm just disappointed in myself, or maybe I'm frustrated with you. But either way, I love you, truly, truly as a friend. Because you're one of the greatest and longest friends I've ever had.
